My name is Carlos Cruz. I run the SF Music Collective. This is a photoblog entirely of my own…
If you didn’t know already, I also have a photoblog. =)
I just spent the last 45 minutes or so updating the “Upcoming Shows” and “Previous Shows” pages. They look nice and neat now.
This is just an update to those who are interested in what i have been up to. Tonight is my first night home in over a month, so I decided to take the time to do some much needed work.
Thanks for the endless pouring love for the posters I just printed. I am very happy with the design, and working with Kimi on it was a pleasure! Some of the prints got fucked up, so those will be handed out for free, otherwise, you can grab a well-printed copy for $3 at any SF Music Collective show, or any shows that I happen to be attending. I keep the poster in the trunk of my car, so where ever I am, I’ll have them with me.
I recently just put an order in for 100 1” buttons of my new logo, also put together by Kimi Hanauer. Those should be in shortly, and they will be FREE at all upcoming SF Music Collective shows, so look out for those. Of course I’ll be blasting it when I receive the order.
As far as shows are going, I’m currently working on August shows, and slowly creeping into the early fall of 2014. I anticipate it to be a great fall season, and I am doing my best to get some of our favorite out of town bands in the Bay Area.
My band Melting Pointhas also been pretty busy the last couple months with recording, and planning some shows for the end of the summer as well. We have a couple of cool things in the works, and those will be announced as soon as they happen.
I can’t thank you all enough for the support over the last 2+ years. This has become something way bigger than I thought it would ever become. I’ve had the chance to work with folks that I have looked up to for the longest time, and that only continues to grow.
Hope to see you all at the upcoming shows.
